Road House Filming Locations – Santa Clarita, California / 1989

Brad Wesley’s House:

Brad Wesley’s infamous house in the 1989 hit movie “Road House” is situated at 20117 East Trimmer Springs Road in the charming town of Sanger, California. The movie, which stars Patrick Swayze as a bouncer hired to clean up a rowdy bar, has become a cult classic over the years, and the location of Wesley’s mansion has become a must-visit spot for film enthusiasts.

The house itself is a stunning example of Mediterranean-style architecture, with its stucco walls, red-tiled roof, and ornate balconies. It’s situated on a sprawling estate with lush gardens and scenic views of the surrounding countryside. The property was carefully chosen by the filmmakers for its unique blend of grandeur and seclusion, making it the perfect location for Wesley’s nefarious activities in the movie.

Today, visitors to Sanger can still drive by the house and admire its beauty from the road. The town itself is a charming destination with a rich history and plenty of local attractions to explore. Whether you’re a die-hard fan of “Road House” or simply appreciate beautiful architecture and scenic landscapes, a visit to Brad Wesley’s house is a must-see when in Sanger. Double Deuce bar and Red’s Auto Parts Location:

Along with Brad Wesley’s house, the 1989 cult classic “Road House” also featured two other iconic locations – the Double Deuce bar and Red’s Auto Parts. These spots were situated at 24650 Arch Street in Santa Clarita, California, and played an essential role in the movie’s plot.

The Double Deuce was the rough-and-tumble bar where Patrick Swayze’s character, Dalton, was hired to bring order to the chaos. The bar’s rowdy patrons and shady owner provided plenty of action and drama throughout the film. Meanwhile, Red’s Auto Parts served as a front for Brad Wesley’s illegal activities, and Dalton’s fight scene with Wesley’s henchmen is a classic movie moment.

Sadly, fans of the movie will not be able to visit these iconic locations in person anymore. In 2011, the buildings were demolished to make way for new development in the area. However, fans can still reminisce about these memorable locations and appreciate the movie’s lasting impact on popular culture. And who knows, maybe new fans will discover “Road House” and be inspired to explore the many other filming locations around Southern California.
