The ‘Burbs Filming Locations – Universal City, California / 1989

If you’re a fan of Tom Hanks, you might be interested to know that the Houses and Neighborhood scenes in one of his movies, ‘The Burbs’, were all filmed in a particular location. Specifically, Colonial Street Backlot inside Universal Studios, located Mayfield Pl. inside Universal Studios, California, was used as the set for these scenes.

This street is a popular spot for movie and TV productions, and has been featured in 1000’s of other well-known productions as well.
