The Last of Us Filming Locations (2023– )

One of hottest shows of the year “The Last Of Us” has been spotted filming all over Alberta, Canada for the last few months.

Starting with season 1 episode 7, “Left Behind”.

Some of the Shopping Mall scenes were filmed at the Northland Village Mall, located at Northland Dr NW, Calgary, AB T2L 2J8, Canada

But, according to some locals, they believe the screen shot below is actually the West Edmonton Mall located at 8882 170 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5T 4J2, Canada.

Where is the High School seen in the show?

Thanks to a recent tip, we now know that Lord Shaughnessy High School in Calgary, Alberta was the stand-in School for the below scenes.

In episode 1, When You’re in the Darkness, The Lone Star Watch & Jewelry that’s seen in the show is actually Don’s Barber Shop located at 2316 2 Ave, Fort Macleod, AB T0L 0Z0, Canada.

Fun Film Fact: Fort Macleod can be seen in Brokeback Mountain, and most recently in Ghostbusters: Afterlife.

Johnny’s Restaurant and 22nd Street were the stand-in locations for Downtown Austin, Texas.
