Venice Beach, California
In June of 2022, the production of Barbie starring Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie made its way to the world-famous Venice Beach in California for four days of filming. The cast and crew, along with around 200 extras, police, and ample security, set up shop along the vibrant Venice boardwalk for this exciting shoot.
During this time, The Venice Hotel, which is located on the boardwalk at the intersection of Venice Boardwalk and Westminster Ave, happened to be hosting a live stream. As luck would have it, a film crew moved in and began filming, and the hotel was able to live stream the entire event.
The resulting video captures the excitement of the moment as the Barbie production team worked their magic against the backdrop of one of California’s most iconic locations. Watching the live stream is a great way to experience the energy and creativity of the film industry up close and personal. MAP IT!!
Barbiebland’s inception took place at the esteemed Leavesden Studios, nestled within the scenic Warner Drive in the enchanting town of Leavesden, Watford, Hertfordshire, England, UK.
