Specifically, the exterior of Government House was converted into the fictional Royal Hamptons Hotel, while the interior shots of the hotel were filmed at the Fairmont Empress and Victoria Conference Centre located at 721 Government St, Victoria, BC V8W 1W5 in downtown Victoria.
