Where is Auggie’s school, Beecher Prep School located?
2 schools were used to make up the school where Auggie and his friends attend in the movie. The 1st school is Vancouver College in BC, located at Cartier St, Vancouver, BC V6M 3A5, Canada. this is where most of the external scenes were shot. The 2nd School used was the Heritage Woods Secondary School located at David Ave, Port Moody, BC V3H 5K6, Canada.This is where all the internal school scenes were filmed. It’s interesting to know that all of the Halloween street party scenes in the movie were filmed in Vancouver, specifically on Bute Street, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The film crew must have found this location suitable for capturing the festive Halloween atmosphere that they were aiming for.
It’s amazing how a particular street can be transformed to suit the needs of a movie scene. The crew would have had to put a lot of effort into transforming Bute Street into a Halloween party setting, with decorations, props, and costumes. They would have also had to coordinate with the local authorities to ensure that the filming didn’t disrupt traffic or cause any other inconvenience to the local residents. map it!
